Artist in Residence

NIMk Artist in Residence programma is gestopt met ingang van 1 januari 2013.


Het Artist in Residence (AiR)-programma van het Nederlands Instituut voor Mediakunst ondersteunt het onderzoek en ontwikkeling van nieuw werk binnen een digitale/interactieve/genetwerkte, op media en technologie gebaseerde kunstenaarspraktijk. Het verblijf biedt kunstenaars tijd en middelen in een ondersteunende omgeving en faciliteert de totstandkoming van nieuw werk, dat wordt geproduceerd vanuit een open source-perspectief. We stimuleren een interdisciplinaire en experimentele aanpak.

 New Artist in residence projects Mobile Media Art
Vivo ARTE.MOV and NIMk are pleased to announce the results of the call for the two months artistic residency programme using a mobile platform. The selected projects for the residence in 2012 were: "Project Jandig" by Angelo Moscozo (aka VJ Pixel) and "The City Talks" by Sander Veenhof. The initiative is pioneering in using specially designed street vehicles equipped with features of digital media developed in the cities of Amsterdam and São Paulo. lees meer »
