Connecting La Havana is a long-term project which aims to open a platform for media and video in La Habana, involving local art institutions, artists and independent collectives of producers. The first step of the platform was the two weeks visit and organization of workshops on video making, which took place in September 2010.
Connecting La Habana had the opportunity and the pleasure to invite as participant artist and guest professor Raul Ferrera Balanquet, Cuban independent film maker, video artist, and writer based in Mexico.
Time Frame also worked with international renowned conceptual artist Rene Francisco, which since the end of the Eighties has been using institutional spaces of Contemporary art as tool of intervention.
Raydel participated to the production workshop with Omni Zonafranca and produced his short video Canto al Santisimo as final result of the workshop.
Formerly known with the nick name of Micro X and T10, Fidel Gracia is one of the most remarkable artist of this last generations, which works on social issues and intervention in public spaces conceptually using old and new technologies.
